Which country do you think has the most amusement parks? Of course in the USA. Almost every state has its own roller coaster and water park parks. Most tourists don't know that some of the biggest amusement parks are just outside of New York City. Especially for you, we have compiled a list of the most popular places.


1. Six Flags Amusement Park

One of the largest amusement parks on the planet is located an hour from New York. In fact, these are as many as three parks in one:

  • Six Flags Great Adventure Amusement Park
  • Hurricane Harbor Water Park
  • Car Safari Park Wild Safari

WHERE IS SIX FLAGS PARK LOCATED?

Theme Park Six Flags Great Adventure is located  70 miles from downtown New York in Jackson, New Jersey.

ATTRACTIONS - GREAT ADVENTURE

The amusement park has several categories of slides - family, children's and breathtaking.

What do you want more: spend time with the kids on a quiet family carousel or rush at a speed of 200 km/h down the highest rollercoaster in the world? At Six Flags there are attractions for every taste.




DC Comics Heroes and Halloween

The park features some of DC's favorite superheroes in the Movietown section.

In addition, the park hosts the Fright Fest each fall. Where you can take part in the seasonal Halloween celebration, where you will find entertainment for the whole family.



AQUAPARK - HURRICANE HARBOR

If you prefer water activities, then head to the Hurricane Harbor New Jersey outdoor  water park, which includes several high-speed slides, children's areas, a wave pool, and a lazy river with a slow movement of water that goes around the entire territory. The park has cafes and eateries with American food.

This is a great getaway for the whole family. There is a children's area with slides for kids and waterfalls. Please note that the water park is only open from early June until early September.




SAFARI PARK - WILD SAFARI

Perhaps you would like to see giraffes? At Six Flags, this is possible - guests can explore the most interesting and exotic animals in the 1.4 square kilometer reserve! It is important to know that such a trip to the world of wildlife can  only be made by private car. This is an unusual zoo - here every visitor looks at the animals walking in the park from the window of his car.

Visiting the famous Wild Safari usually takes 1.5 to 3 hours and includes 1200 animals from six continents, including elephants, rhinos, tigers, giraffes, lions, ostriches, zebras, bears, wolves and deer.

2. Entertainment complex American Dream mall

In the shopping and entertainment complex American Dream you will find entertainment for every taste:


This indoor water park is open all year round. The pools are heated, and climate control maintains a comfortable temperature, both in winter and in summer.

3. LEGOLAND New York theme park & Resort

In the Legoland theme park, you can ride, climb, splash and, of course, build from Lego in six different themed zones - there is a Ninjago zone, Kingdom, Robot zone, Pirate, Mini America and World of bricks.

Each zone is filled with Lego - themed activities - here you will find carousels and Lego car driving lessons, in the Pirate Bay - a pirate ship swaying on the waves, in the Kingdom - a roller coaster in the form of dragons and much, much more. Everything is very large-scale and of course built from Lego blocks!

In addition to visiting the attractions, children can join forces and build a huge Lego castle, as well as learn the most advanced Lego building methods and become real masters in this business.
