Calangute Beach
The city of Calangute is located in the northern part of the state of Goa and is famous for the fact that it was in the 60s that the hippies first chose it. Here, as in the last century, a rich nightlife reigns with many parties in nightclubs. To date, Calangute is the most popular resort in North Goa.
Calangute Beach (कलंगुट बीच) has a coastline of about 7 km and is a continuation of Baga Beach. Even the locals do not really know where one beach ends and another begins. Here you will find a wide range of water activities and all the beach infrastructure necessary for a comfortable stay: free sunbeds, umbrellas, beach cafes and restaurants with excellent cuisine and magnificent views of the Arabian Sea.

Calangute Beach is very popular not only among tourists, but also among local residents who like to spend their May holidays here with their families. It can hardly be called the best vacation spot for those who like to sunbathe and relax, because due to the large number of vacationers it is not always clean and it is noisy here. Most vacationers who want to combine noisy entertainment with a relaxing beach holiday prefer to go sunbathing to neighboring beaches, where there are fewer people and the sand and the sea are cleaner.

Reviews for Calangute Beach
If you come to a real party - this beach is the perfect choice, you can always find where to dance and listen to music. If you are planning a quiet family vacation, this place is not for you. Because of the numerous tourists, it is always noisy here, the sea is muddy. I like a varied cuisine, you can always buy fresh fruits for a low price, they offer juices. In Calangute, there is simply a chic selection of hotels, you can find budget accommodation close to the beach.
